Berneslai Homes Board members are company directors and are responsible for:
- Making sure we achieve our core objectives
- Providing strategic leadership and challenge
- Sound financial management of the company
- The performance of the company
- The health and safety of our staff and customers
- Setting the policies and operational framework for the company
- Giving direction on key areas for improvement

Our public Board meetings are held five times per year.

- 19 February 2026 - Gateway Plaza, 4pm
- 26 March 2026 - virtual, 4pm
- 28 May 2026 - Gateway Plaza, 4pm
- 30 July 2026 - Gateway Plaza, 4pm
- 24 September 2026 - Gateway Plaza, 4pm followed by the AGM, 6:15pm
- 26 November 2026 - Gateway Plaza, 4pm

Meet our Board
The Board has ten members: the Chair, two Barnsley Council members, one senior independent director, four independent members, and two tenant members. This means that different interests are represented, and the Board can make sound decisions for tenants and residents in Barnsley.
